ABOUT AMBADEVI LIBRARY

Shri Ambadevi Sansthan Library is an integral Part of Shri Ambadevi Sansthan Amaravati (Maharashtra).
The Sansthan is not limited to religious activities alone but also contributes significantly to social, educational and cultural fields.

As a part of these efforts Shri Ambadevi Sansthan Granthalay has been registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act,1950 and was established in the year !970.

The Library received government recognition in 1976.

It is a Taluka “A” Grade government recognized Library, and its registration number is 429A/Amt.

Books available in the library include these related those religious,texts,stories,Novels,
Reference Books, Children’s Literature, Poetry, Biographies and more.

Similarly, Hindi, English and Marathi News paper and Periodicals are available in large number in the library.

In addition, Various programs are organized through the library for example- Drawing Compititions,Lectures on the Occasion of Birth anniversaries of great Personalities, essay Competition, Expert guidance Session and Discussion forums, etc.

More than 2000 readers and Child readers & Researcher as well as around 300 to 400 students are benefiting from the reading materials available in our Library.

Shri Ambadevi Sansthan Library has

Rare manuscripts:- A small but Precious Collection of manuscripts approximately 400-500 years old.

Reading Room:- A dedicated reading space for members with Comfortable facilities to read and Study.

Membership/Subscription Options :-
   Monthly and quarterly Subscription options are available for those who wish to access the library regularly.

INITATIVE OF OUR LIBRARY : -

• 1. COMPETITIVE EXAM CENTER : -

Our library conducts a competitive examination Study center where wi-fi Internet facilities and all essential books related to competitive exam are made available for students.

For competitive exam students’ expert guidance sessions on important subjects are organized from time to time.

At very minimal fee, all the necessary facilities are provided Separate study rooms for boys and girls available, along with dedicated computers.

“Between 2022 and 2024 around 50 students from our library were successfully appointed to various government posts”.

The competitive exam section remains open daily from 8.30 am.to 9.00pm.and on Sunday’s it remains open entire day.

• 2. SANT SAHITYA STUDY CENTER :-

Shri. Ambadevi Sansthan Granthalaya Amravati, proudly established Maharashtra’s first sant sahitya study center in the year 2024.

The center was inaugurated with great grandeur on 1st March 2025.

Objectives:-

    To Preserve promote the invaluable literary heritage of saints.

    To provide readers, students and researchers with authentic resources on saint literature.

    To encourage moral, cultural and spiritual values though study and research.

    A rich collection of books, manuscripts and reference material on saint literature.

    A dedicated reading space designed for peaceful study.

    Regular initiatives to spread awareness about saint literature and relevance in modern society.

• 3. CHILDERN'S SECTION :-

Our library has a dedicated children’s section designed especially for young readers. The section offers a wide range of age-appropriate and engaging books .

The center was inaugurated with great grandeur on 1st March 2025.

Features:-

    Story books, fairy tales, mythological tales, picture books, and science fiction.

    Reference books to support school learning.

    Comics and knowledge based literature to spark imagination.

    Comfortable seating and a bright child friendly environment.

    Regular storytelling session drawing activities and reading programs encourage Participation.

Objective:-

    The aim of the children’s section is to cultivate reading habits at an early age, foster creativity and enhance thinking skill among children.
